History:
S. R. Lahoti Kanya Prashala, Karad was established in 1960 with 61 students. It has tried its best for all round development of students. It is now for imparting a high quality education for girls.

Now days Mrs. A. A. Parandkar are Head Mistress of kanya prashala carrying their responsibility with the help of 38 teaching staff and 12 non-teaching staff. Today about 1305 girls are getting quality education.

In this school sports and games, school discipline, entertainment, science, literature, computer these departments are also giving valuable participation in student’s education. Sharada is one of the magazines edited by our school.

Our school is also having good results each year. A student shows admirable participation in the various exams like N.T.S., M.T.S. & other extra curricular competitions like drawing, music, drama, etc.

School is also having glorious tradition of eminent students like writers, administrator, judge, etc.
