History:
English language has a great influence and it is the
key to the source of knowledge. At the same time our culture
also should be maintained alone with education. Such was the
pressing demand of the people of Karad. So Shikshan Mandal Karad
started English Medium School in 1980-81. it was inaugurated
by the auspicious hands of G.S. alias Dadasaheb Altekar with
limited number of students whereas today strength of the school
is 673.
Mrs. Joglekar was the first Head Master of the school &
since 1987 Mrs. Mulla S.M.F. acts as the Head Mistress. 20 teaching
staff & 6 non-teaching staff associate her.
Since then the school has shown a record progress by keeping up their
tradition of 100% results at S.S.C. exams.
Our Heritage of 100% result not only in std X board examination but
in all such competitive examinations, attained by our teachers.
During the academic year 2002-2003
the school has presented an example of a perfect blend of and
academic & extra curricular activities. It can also be called
the development year.
Our students appeared for various
exams like M.T.S. examination, Govt. Elementary & Intermediate
grade drawing examination, English & Math’s examinations.
Co-curricular Activities:
Enthusiastic participation of the school has been admired
each year in --- science exhibitions, singing competition &
sport competition. Etc.
One of the special features of our school is that it arranges
guest lectures for students.
Our school also celebrates various ceremonies like Independence
day, Hindi day, Literacy day, Teacher’s day, Children’s day, Republic
day etc.
