History 
Std V was started in 1932 by Atmaram Vidyamandir's Trust, Oglewadi, Tal Karad. The school was known as Bal Vidyalaya, then headmaster Mr. Deshpande Mularidhar Shankar have started Std. VI in 1933 and was continued upto 1945, Std. VII was started in 1945 and then continued upto 1950. 

In 1950 the management of Bal Vidyalaya was handed over to Shikshan Mandal, Karad. Hence the school has been run by Shikshan Mandal, Karad. Upto today. Std VIII th was also started the same year. This class was run upto 1953. Mr. Balkrishna Vasudev Ghate was Headmaster during these years. 

Construction of new building started in 1960 and completed in 1961. The name of Bal Vidyalaya was changed to Atmaram Vidyamandir as per resolution of Shikshan Mandal Karad in 1961.
